Dental Hygienist Loan Repayment
For 2010 only, the Virginia Department of Health has a loan repayment program to help with educational loans from dental hygiene school. The loan repayment amount is $7,000.
Dental hygienists are eligible for this assistance if they:
- Graduated in 2005 or later,
- Have existing loans as a result of their dental education,
- Practice in a dental area of need in Virginia, and
- Work in an office that accepts Medicaid.
