The brochure for the 2009-2010 Continuing Education course offerings from the Greater Richmond Dental Hygienists’ Association has arrived! We hope that everyone will be able to attend one or more of these events this year. These courses are not only a great opportunity to learn about new advancements, techniques, products, and health issues related to dentistry and dental hygiene, they are also a good way to socialize and network with colleagues from the Richmond and surrounding areas! Professional relationships are essential to professional integrity. I would like to thank Tiffany Boyd, GRDHA CE Chair, for her efforts in developing this year’s programs.

As a reminder, the Virginia Dental Hygienists’ Association will be holding the 2010 Annual Meeting right here in Richmond! As our component is the host component for the meeting, please be thinking of getting involved to help make the 2010 VDHA meeting an exciting time for all! (You do not have to be a member to help.) More information on ways to be involved will follow in the months to come.

We are your professional organization and are always open to suggestions.
